“The target for 2010 is for cargo handling volumes to match the level of 2009,”said the port’s chief operations director, Sergey Lopunov.
With a view to the market conditions in Asia Pacific Region improving, the port has already secured additional equipment and prepared facilities for increased cargo operations. It has also successfully conducted tests of cargo handling technologies not used in the port before.
