Ports America announces new CEO
Prior to this appointment, Hassing served as chief executive officer of Scandlines GmbH, one of Europe’s largest ferry operators, a post he held since 2008, and has spent nearly 30 years in various international container and logistics posts.
These include three years as CEO of the Icelandic Samskip Group, 25 years with A.P. Møller-Maersk, the most recent as managing director and chief executive officer of Maersk Company in the UK. He also served in various capacities with Maersk in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Japan, and Denmark.
