Flexible couplings conversion
The simple conversion involves removing the middle elastomer component and claw rings from any make of elastic claw ring coupling and replacing them with a rigid gear, a procedure can take no more than 20 minutes.
“It is just a question of removing the screws holding the coupling, replacing the central elastic component and claw rings with the rigid gear, replacing the screws and the unit is ready to go,” said Christof Lautwein, managing director of Malmedie.
Designed with the same dimensions as all elastomer parts, the “S-NX” conversion kit can accommodate the same angular and axial mis-alignment as elastic parts and transmit higher torques.
