By integrating a sensor device within the twistlock itself, Bromma spreaders now have a better ability to identify overloaded or understated container, as well as out-of-balance eccentric loads – all of which pose a safety risk at terminals.
With each twistlock having its own sensor, it is possible to verify the actual weight on each corner of a container, whatever its size and whether it is a single or part of a twin-lift procedure.
The system can also identify snag-loads or if one or more corners of a container remain connected to a chassis when the box is being lifted from a trailer truck.
