Delivery of the terminal tractors along with four RTGs is scheduled for Q4-2010, with the remaining cranes arriving in the Q2-2011.
The 7+1 wide and 1-over-6 high RTGs will be capable of handling 40 tonne loads. The units will be equipped with all-electric Bromma spreaders and Cargotec’s auto-steering and container position verification system, Smartrail.
The latest generation E-One2 RTGs provide the industry’s lowest lifetime costs, consume considerably less fuel compared to conventional diesel-hydraulic RTGs and minimise environmental impact.
