“We are satisfied with this purchase. Finally the conflict inside the company has been resolved and we and our partner can now move forward with further terminal development and expansion,” said Alyona Ashurkova, NCC president.
NCC operates a group of sea and off-dock container terminals including First Container Terminal in St. Petersburg, NUTEP in Novorossiysk, Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT), Logistika-Terminal, a dry-land container terminal in Shushary (Leningrad region), and Ukrtranscontainer in Illichivsk.
Container terminal development and ULCT construction which was suspended over the shareholders’ financing disagreement, will “soon resume.” Shareholders are currently looking at investment models and familiarising themselves with plans, in order to take the next step forward.
