First Hemispheric Convention on port logistics and competition

The objectives of the Convention are to generate a forum for analysis, discussion and the exchange of experiences on policies, strategies and actions planned or carried out by Member States of the OAS and other organisations both national and international, “Which promote the design of programmes to help improve conditions to heighten competition in their markets and to increase the use of logistics as a key factor for success for investment and the economic development of their nations”.

Sponsored by Puertos del Estado of Spain, more than 200 participants are expected to attend including officials, executives, professionals, industrialists and scholars of the OAS member states, of permanent observer countries and international organisations and experts from the port, maritime and international trade community.
