Konecranes extends Lingang factory

Opened in 2007 the factory currently assembles empty container handlers, reachstackers and heavy forklift trucks. Initially selling only within China, today lift trucks from the factory are shipped around the world.

Speaking at the opening, Pekka Lundmark, president and CEO of Konecranes Group, highlighted the importance of China in the company’s strategy is growing.

“Thanks to the improved conditions and added manufacturing space in Lingang we can now take the capacity and quality to the next level”, he said.
