Shuwaikh and Shuaiba ports are managed and operated by KPA, with Shuwaikh located immediately west of Kuwait City and considered to be Kuwait’s most important port. The Port of Shuaiba, the country’s second port, lies on the shore of the Gulf, 45 km southeast of Kuwait City and supports the city’s industries.
The 45 tonne lift capacity reachstackers will be able to stack five containers high and three deep and will be equipped with a cabin that can be elevated in order to view the second train rails. Each cabin will also have a remote camera to improve safety, along with load-sensing hydraulics to provide ‘power-on-demand’ for the required load weight.
