APM Terminals Liberia has started operations on schedule

APM Terminals took over the 25-year concession agreement to operate the Port of Monrovia in Liberia in October 2010. The concession agreement includes rehabilitating the quay wall, developing the container and general cargo activities and marine services for the port. Cargotec to acquire Navis

Cargotec, which markets cargo handling equipment under the Hiab, Kalmar and MacGregor brands, has agreed to acquire US-based terminal operator systems (TOS) provider Navis from Zebra Technologies for around US$190m (EUR 140m) which will result in an after-tax gain of US$30m to US$40m for Zebra.
