The new service commenced in Hamburg the day before and, in addition to Thamesport, will also call at Antwerp, Dakar (Senegal), Tin Can (Nigeria), Tema (Ghana), Antwerp, Hamburg. Abidjan will also be included in the schedule when the political situation in the Ivory Coast allows.
Announcing the new service last month (March), Colin de Souza, vice president for MOL North South Trades, Trade Management – Europe, said, “This weekly service with fast transit times will be especially useful for customers shipping fresh produce from West Africa to Europe and further afield”.
French customers benefit from connections between Le Havre and Antwerp southbound, and Le Havre and Hamburg northbound.
