As exclusively reported by this publication yesterday, on Sunday evening a number of people, believed to be Chinese, removed all available technical documents and brochures relating to Cargotec’s latest generation of products, which included the new ‘F’ and ‘G’ series forklift trucks.
It is said that following the incident the matter was reported to the Hanover police, who it is understood visited a local hotel and questioned a number of people regarding a possible incident of industrial espionage. Cargotec confirmed that the incident had taken place but stated that as the matter is under police investigation no further comment could be made.
Launching the four new Kalmar DCF180-250 models, which have lift capacities spanning 18 to 25 tonnes, the company has introduced a unique and innovative fully variable hydraulic system, with load sensing axial piston pumps that only use as much pressure as needed for the specific load.
