Predicting sales and operating profit for 2011 to be higher than 2010 based on demand for new equipment growing compared to last year, the new line up includes the ‘Truview’ remote data monitoring system and a ‘Trucare’ full service concept. In addition, the company presented new features in the CXT crane range and for its heavy-duty fork lift trucks and reach stackers.
Using a remote connection the Truview data monitoring and reporting service collects real-time actual usage data from the crane, which for customers means improved safety and higher efficiency as crane maintenance can be planned according to the crane’s actual usage and condition.
Linked to this is Trucare, a 5-year full service contract package built around the Truview service, where costs are fixed and include basic maintenance activities and spare parts. The company says that this service package allows customers to focus on their core business as, “the cranes are taken care of by Konecranes”.
