The ship is currently proceeding from the Mediterranean to Brazil, where she will join the Maestra Atlantico (1,350 teu) and Maestra Mediterraneo (1,180 teu), which were assigned to the new Maestra services in April and July 2011 respectively.
Maestra’s existing service connects several Brazilian ports. Of note, the service includes a call at Itajai’s Terminais Portuários de Navegantes, which was inaugurated in October 2007 and is owned by Triunfo Participações e Investimentos and Empresa Backmoon Investments Inc.
The terminal is used by MSC, Zim, Maersk Line, Hamburg Süd, CSAV, HMM, Hanjin and NYK.
