The cranes, which will each have two booms with a waterside outreach of 50 metres, will operate on a finger pier and be capable of unloading super post-Panamax vessels on either side of the pier. With a span of 36m, the total lift height under spreader will be 38m.
The safe working load (SWL) will be 60 tonnes under twin-lift spreader and 70 tonnes under hook beam. The hoist speeds will be 60-150m/min, while the crane travel will be is 60 m/min. A machinery house trolley is to be installed with a trolley speed of 200 m/min.
To be delivered during the third quarter of 2012, both cranes will feature Liebherr AC crane drives.
