Gothenburg wins environment award
Receiving the €10,000 (US$13,000) award, as well as receiving a bronze statue, Susanne Dutt, sustainability manager at the port, said, “The fact that we have been so successful with shore-side power supply can be attributed to the close collaboration between the port and our customers. Hopefully, the attention this will attract will contribute to more ports and shipping companies investing in shore-side power supply”.
The awards attracted almost 1,000 entries from 105 countries.
