Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics (SSSL) has signed a four year contract with Greenwave for the delivery of its fully Internet-based ‘T3’ terminal operation system (TOS) at its five container terminal sites in Norway.

4-year TOS contract for Greenwave

Although Greenwave has been working with Scandinavian Shipping Group, one of Norway’s biggest privately-owned shipping companies, for more than 10 years, the company’s T3 system was up against competition from other major TOS providers.

The T3 system was developed for lower volume container/cargo terminal operators but also suits terminals handling up to 100,000 teu; its internet technology is ideal for multi-terminal operators.

Software updates and extensions are available instantly for all group users – shipping lines, forwarders and others within the shipping community – without interruption in time or user involvement.

“We are pleased having entered into a long term agreement that provides stability between the two companies. We have cooperated with Greenwave for many years to get a stable development of our container terminals in Moss, Drammen, Larvik and Kristiansand. We see it as a strength that we have now entered a new partnership to take care of the operation and development of IT solutions for at least for the next four years,” said Øyvind Lygre, CEO of Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics.
