The ASW covers Yokohama, Keelung, Hong Kong, Dachan Bay, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Manzanillo (Mexico), Callao, Valparaiso, Lirquen, Callao, Manzanillo (Mexico), Yokohama. Further ports will be covered at both ends through feedering.
The service turns in ten weeks using ten ships of 4,200 to 4,800 teu and is to be stretched by one week through the addition of an eleventh ship and the first Hapag- Lloyd sailing is scheduled from Keelung on April 27.
Hapag-Lloyd currently covers the Asia-WCSA trade by transhipment at Manzanillo (Mexico) between its Asia-Mexico AME services (AME 1/AME 2) and its own WCSA relay service (MXP). The MXP may be revised once the new direct service is implemented.
