Happy 40th for RAM
RAM has evolved considerably over the past forty years, with changes such as a new custom built factory in China and continually creating innovative product ranges. Recent developments include all-electric separating twinlift spreaders, innovative designs of telescopic spreaders for mobile harbour cranes, PinSmart twistlock handling machines and SingFlex Twin 40 Headblocks for STS cranes. These new products complement its RAM range of telescopic, fixed and separating twinlift spreaders, offering the finest choice for Ship-to-Shore Cranes, RTGs/RMGs, mobile harbour cranes and fork lifts.
RAM’s China plant, ChangShu RAM Engineering Co. Ltd. was constructed in 2005 and the Phase one expansion of the facility was completed in 2006. Following increasing global demand for its products, two more phases were subsequently completed in 2008 and 2011.
The facility now occupies a total area of 28,800 sq m making it the largest company in the Changshu Free Trade Development Zone. Since opening, the Company has delivered over 2,000 spreaders.
