The terminal’s registered name was changed in accordance with legal procedures on May 15, 2012 and all terminal customers have been notified and asked to ‘amend their documents accordingly’.
Since 2007 significant investments in technology and infrastructure have been made in what is now CTI, which have increased terminal capacity to 850,000 teu.
As a result, increasing numbers of deep-sea carriers have launched direct services to the terminal from China deploying vessels up to 8,000 teu capacity which enjoy a fixed berthing window system.
