APMT chose the site based on its city centre location, which provides easy access to The Hague’s business district and because of its proximity to the central station and its frequent, direct, express train service to Amsterdam Schiphol airport.
CFO Christian Moller Laursen said, “As a fast-growing, global port operator we wanted to select the best office space, location and work environment for our employees to define our global brand and business ambitions.”
APM Terminals became a separate business unit of the Copenhagen-based A.P. Moller-Maersk Group in 2001 and currently has over 100 employees working in its present headquarters located in The Hague at Anna van Sakensenlaan 71, which it has occupied since 2004
