Capable of being rotated a full 180° degrees, the driver has two control options; pre-set buttons that work only when the machine’s brake is engaged, or a joystick for more experienced driver that offers the same pre-set positioning to enable the cabin to be turned while the machine is in motion.
The pre-set positions automatically rotate the cabin from its forward-facing position to 65° to the right, 90° to the left or a full 180° for safer reversing. The speed of the rotation is electronically controlled and slows as the cabin reaches its desired position for the comfort of the driver.
As a safety feature and whether using the pre-set buttons or joystick, to engage the 180° driving position the machine needs to be stationary as both the steering and foot pedal operations are altered to compensate for the reverse driving position.
