Three Maersk Line services call at BNCT

“BNCT is very excited to prove that we can already deliver world-class terminal service since the start of operations just six months ago to two of the world’s biggest shipping lines” remarked Peter Slootweg, chief commercial officer of BNCT.

BNCT is an independent full-service container terminal with an initial capacity of about 1.8m teu with prospects of growing up to 2.7m teu by 2014. It is the first vertically-automated terminal in Korea, which includes 38 unmanned automated yard cranes, eight quay cranes and 20 straddle carriers, all able to operate to their maximum potential without having to wait for the previous or next process to finish before working.
