Liebherr thrives in Russia

The crane for Novorossiysk is identical to a previous machine commissioned in 2009, with an outreach of 46 m, a backreach of 15 m and a span of 15.24 m. It will have a safe working load (SWL) of 50-tonnes under a single lift spreader. Remote diagnostics and crane-to-crane anti-collision systems will also be supplied.

In St. Petersburg, the cranes will have an outreach of 38.5 m, a backreach of 15 m, a span of 22.5 m and again, a SWL of 50-tonnes with a single-lift telescopic spreader lift height of 28 m over rail.

The proprietary Liebherr crane management system, Visuscan will be localised with a Russian user interface as is standard on all Liebherr container cranes supplied to Russia.
