Konecranes repeat order for West Africa

In August 2012 Konecranes received two orders for a total of nine RTGs from Bolloré Group. The cranes will be delivered to MPS Container Terminal in Tema, Ghana and Benin Container Terminal in Cotonou, Benin. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the orders. Read More »

Funding approved for completion of Los Angeles channel deepening

The US$7.5m final phase of the Port of Los Angeles’ main channel deepening project (MCDP) has been approved. To date the project has taken the port’s main navigational channels and turning basins to a 53 ft (16.15 m) depth, allowing container ships of all sizes to be accommodated. Read More »
