Measuring 334.80 metres long, with a width of 45.80 m, the vessel has a maximum draught 14.2 m and is the first of 30 new ‘L-Series’ containerships for Evergreen. The new building will be deployed on the CEM service operated jointly with the Korean shipping company Hanjin, sailing on the Far East – Northern Europe route.
The port rotation is Hamburg, Rotterdam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong and Felixstowe.
The vessel was welcomed by Roger Huang, managing director Evergreen Shipping Agency (Germany), together with other representatives of HHLA and Port of Hamburg Marketing, at which time the master, Captain Chen-Li Wen, was presented with a Hamburg Admiralty plaque.
