Winter break for G6 alliance deep sea service

It was in April this year that G6 started a direct deep sea service between the Port of Gothenburg and China. Up to now, volumes in Sweden have been good and the service has developed well in Gothenburg.

\”Swedish exports remain strong, particularly to destinations outside Europe. However, global economic uncertainty has obviously had an impact on the shipping companies, many of which have been forced to reschedule their loops and reduce capacity. We hope that the market turns around and that the deep sea service can restart as soon as possible,\” said Claes Sundmark, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at the Port of Gothenburg.

The Loop 3 route is: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Le Havre – Rotterdam –Bremerhaven – Gothenburg – Rotterdam – Jeddah – Singapore – Shekou – Hong Kong – Shanghai.
