The company’s global support and corporate functions will also be restructured towards that of a holding company, creating more independent business units to improve profitability.
Negotiations with employees on changes or transfers in work duties to other sectors within the company will start shortly; these could result in the reduction of approximately 245 man-years globally.
A spokesman for the company confirmed to CM that the move has been partially driven as a result of changes in the global market, which is currently experiencing another slowdown.
