Konecranes to Indonesia and Slovenia

Having received five RTGs previously, BICT now operates a fleet of fifteen Konecranes RTGs. The ten units delivered in June are technically very similar to the ones already delivered. When they change stack, for example, their wheels rotate while turning. This feature reduces wear on the rubber tyres and the container yard compared to traditional solutions, extending the lifetime of the rubber tires and yard surface.

The ten 8-wheel RTGs can stack six plus one containers high and six containers wide plus truck lane. They have a lifting capacity of 40 tons.

Slovenia
On the other side of the world, Konecranes recently delivered three RTGs cranes to Luka Koper in Slovenia. The 16-wheel machines feature Konecranes’ Active Load Control technology for superior container handling performance.
