The TR618i model will handle the heaviest and complicated cargo, while the six TRL618i units are intended for more common cargo. The machines are expected for delivery at the end of 2012.
The machines include innovative features such as CanBUS controls (an advanced technology only provided by Cargotec), the latest EU-stage 3A Volvo TAD750VE and Sisu Diesel 74CTA engines, Dana RTE15822 automatic gear control transmission, and numerous improvements in lifetime, durability and operator comfort.
With a capacity of over 13m tonnes,Klasco’s liquid/dry bulk and general cargo terminals account for around a third of the Port of Klaipeda’s annual capacity of 45m tonnes. The company can handle the biggest vessels entering Klaipeda port.
