\”Gold Star Line’s HSX service provides direct weekly connections from ZICT(G) to Haiphong, giving shippers in the western Pearl River Delta a cost competitive option for their export cargo to Vietnam,” said Ronald Wan, the general manager at ZICT(G),
The HSX service has a port rotation of Haiphong-Fangcheng-Gaolan-Dachan-Hong Kong.
The terminal is the only natural deep-water port in the western Pearl River Delta capable of handling mega-vessels, which serve the western hinterlands through intermodal transportation networks, with links to areas along the Xijiang River and the Beibu Gulf of Guangxi.
ZICT(G) is a joint venture between Hutchison Delta Ports (HDP) and Zhuhai Port Holdings Group Company Limited. Situated on the Nanshui River, southwest of Zhuhai City, China, it has been in operation since 1994 and is part of the HDP network.
