Major Australian order for Kalmar

Destined for terminals across the region, the DRT450 reachstackers have been specifically designed to meet the needs of Asia-Pacific customers.

To be built in Kalmar’s Shanghai factory, the 45-tonne first row capacity machines will stack 9’6″ containers up to five high and feature a 6250mm wheelbase to provide enhanced stability and manoeuvrability.

The DCG160-6 forklift trucks have a 16-tonne capacity at 600mm load centres and are the first to incorporate the new Kalmar EGO cabin, a key factor in Pacific Materials Handling’s selection process.  The G-Generation trucks also feature new electric and hydraulic systems.
