Designed as a hub for mega-vessels of up to 22.000 teu, ZIP The has an annual capacity of around 600,000 teu and comprises 720 m of quay equipped with four ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
Evergreen’s Ever Laden was the first vessel in the new weekly CEM/ANN service to berth at the ZIP terminal. Evergreen contributes eight vessels and Hanjin contributes two vessels to this service, with Cosco, K-Line, YangMing and CMA-CGM taking slots.
The CEM/ANN servivce schedule includes port calls in Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Colombo, Rotterdam, Felixtowe, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Algeciras, Colombo, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Qingdao. The call in Algeciras provides a connection to West Africa and the call in Colombo allows fast transits to India and Pakistan
