According to a joint statement, the new business alliance will allow experts from the two companies to team up to deliver remote real-time control solutions for refrigerated container operations in ports and terminals.
For the past five years, IS and WAM have been partnering to deliver reefer monitoring solutions to major container terminals and port authorities around the world. The new agreement will greatly expand the capabilities of the system and allow IS to customise WAM software and functionality to meet the requirements of its port and terminal customers.
Michael Dempsey, IS ports and terminals general manager said that that the merger with WAM Technologies will deliver new solutions that specifically address the complex demands of reefer container management in ports and terminals.
