Phoenix introduces the EcoMod LED

The series utilises ‘EcoVent Technology’ that extends the life of the fixture by allowing heat, water and debris to flow between the modules, while retaining the LED benefits of low maintenance, energy savings – using up to 70% less energy compared to equivalent HID floodlight – and instant-on lighting to reduce downtime.

“Phoenix has taken two years of feedback from the industry and designed a durable, modular LED floodlight specifically for port equipment.  EcoMod incorporates the latest technology, while balancing the challenges of vibration, corrosion and moisture intrusion. The fixture can be incorporated onto new or retrofitted on existing cranes,” explained Ryan Hertel, director of Business Development.

The unit is manufactured to UL 1598, UL 1598A, CE certified and IP66 rated, with a marine-grade extruded aluminum housing and modules, impact and UV resistant lenses and fully potted drivers; it also comes with 20 kV of surge protection and safety cable.  The fixture has 360° rotation and is available with stranded wires for added protection against shock and vibration.
