Unifeeder consolidates short-sea operations at Eurogate Hamburg

The exclusive partnership is a further step in the company’s strategy to offer its customers integrated and reliable multimodal transport solutions, and to optimise them on a continuous basis.

One of the goals of the partnership is to reinforce the link between short-sea transport operations at the Port of Hamburg and rail freight handling, allowing the company to respond more quickly and flexibly to customer and market demands.

The terminal was chosen partly due to the Eurokombi intermodal rail station, located directly adjacent to the container terminal thus guaranteeing short distances between ship and rail transport.
