London Thamesport welcomes A2B Moerdijk Service

Commencing January 28, 2014 the the 340 teu m.s Expansa will offer three sailings a week to the Dutch port of Moerdijk.

Gerard de Groot, A2B-online Container’s managing director said that he was delighted to start up the new route. “Besides fast turnaround times at the terminal we needed an efficient and effective ships operation as well, which is why we decided on London Thamesport,” he added.

De Groot went on to say that it was the company’s intention to increase the weekly sailings to four after three months. “The advantage London Thamesport is that it has no locks to go through, shorter crossings and quick handling of the ship,” he said.
