Exolgan S.A. terminal in Argentina has completed the demolition and removal of a 530 m long berth and its back area located on the East Margin of the Dock Sud Port.
The Public Works Project of Buenos Aires Province, part of an investment plan launched in 2008, and designed to widen the port’s navigable area cost around ARS230m (US$29m).
Apart from streamlining processes to make them fit with its ongoing improvement policy, the company has positioned itself to guarantee the level of productivity currently required by large vessels. The project has enabled two super post-Panamax ships to be handled simultaneously.
