Puerto Caacupe-mi Paraguay selects both Navis and Kalmar

Puerto Caacupe-mi has become the first port in Paraguay and South America to select Navis’ N4 terminal operating system (TOS), to achieve greater agility, efficiency and control in handling large cargo volumes, and Kalmar’s SmartPort process automation solutions for its Asuncion and Pilar facilities.

Part of the SmartPort solution, SmartFleet offers real time and historical data for remote equipment monitoring for all tracked assets; it incorporates SmartMap that provides a terminal view of the operations.

Together, the solutions will increase security and productivity with yard operations, improve the quality of information and reduce human error, and enhance terminal truck operator efficiency.
