Terport opts for Navis

Terminales Portuarias S.A (Terport) has selected the Navis N4 terminal operating system (TOS) for its facility in Paraguay.

“Navis N4 will help us to efficiently manage our growth while minimizing our yard moves, improving communications with vessel operators and shipping lines, and automating processes,” said Ricardo Dos Santos, Terport’s general manager.

As part of the implementation, Terport will utilise Navis’ Expert Decking module that facilitates real-time, accurate and optimised stowage of containers in the yard. Navis says this tool allows terminal operators to focus on bigger picture yard management making it easier to increase yard capacity and optimise operations.
