Within three years since starting operations, Porto Itapoá in Brazil has reached the 1m teu mark, when the Hamburg Süd Santa Rita on the Asia route (NGEX 2) called at the port.
“Our Terminal reached this historic milestone in record time compared to other Brazilian ports,” affirmed the port’s president, Patrício Junior.
Porto Itapoá is a private, multi-purpose terminal for container movement. It’s shareholders include Portinvest, formed by Grupo Battistella and LOGZ Logística Brasil, and Aliança Navegação e Logística (Grupo Hamburg Süd).
