New Zealand-based Jade Software has captured its first order in Central America with an order to supply its ‘Master Terminal’ mixed cargo TOS (terminal operating system) to Grupo CICE for two multi-purpose ports at Veracruz and Tampico. The single system will replace a number of in-house systems.
The move comes as CICE looks to attract more international shipping companies. “We have to compete with top international groups and operate in our own terminal as well as in public areas. To provide top quality services for containers and general cargo we need the right tools to plan, control and operate our business,” said a CICE spokesperson.
Captain Kaustubh Dalvi, director of sales for Master Terminal, commented: “This is a significant milestone for Master Terminal; it is our first implementation in Mexico, further extending our footprint in the Americas.”
