DP World has bought all of Euroports’ shares in Trilogiport (Liège container terminal), thus taking full responsibility for the development of the terminal, and consolidating its presence on the Albert Canal.
The Dubai-based terminal operator is confident that, the planned Trilogiport container terminal at Liège Port, which is set to be completed in 2015, can become a key logistics hub and base for the hinterland.
Louis Bertrand, director-general of the Liège Port Authority explained: “DP World supports our strategy to connect Antwerp and Rotterdam to Germany, the Netherlands and France via Liège.”
