A 10% rise in container volume at Cosco Pacific’s container terminals helped the Chinese state-owned group record an 18.9% increase in revenue.
The performance of their 23 container terminals varied but 20 recorded year-on-year increases in throughput in the first half of the year.
Some of the biggest increases came from Cosco’s non-Chinese terminals. Piraeus, Antwerp Gateway, COSCO-PSA and the Suez Canal Container Terminal together recording a 22.3% increase.
