The Philadelphia Regional Port Authority (PRPA) has requested “expressions of interests” from those wishing to develop a 200 acre site in South Philadelphia.
The Authority are looking for proposals by 14 November from container terminal operators as well as energy companies, car manufacturers, shipping lines and investment firms.
The area, known as Southport, is at the eastern end of the Navy Yard, south of the Walt Whitman Bridge on the river Delaware.
