Quay deepening paying off at PSCT
Port Said Container Terminal in Port Said West is maintaining its record of handling vessels with greater drafts, especially since the completion of work to deepen the quay to 14.6 m in April this year.
Recently the terminal has received calls from UASC’s Al-Hilal and Al-Bihal vessels, the latter of which measures 306 m long and 40 m wide and the former 306 m long and 42 m wide. Both vessels have capacity of just under 7,000 teu.
The Al-Hilal was making its second call at the Egyptian terminal.
