Kalmar secures orders for 512 terminal tractors in North America
Kalmar has struck a deal worth close to €40m (US$45.7m) in North America for a total of 512 of its Ottawa T2 terminal tractors.
The Finnish company received the order during an annual North American dealer meeting in Florida. The deal ensures the introduction of the new tractor into the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The Ottawa T2 tractors were first introduced to the North American market in February 2014 and were developed to improve productivity and performance efficiency, using the latest technology and innovations in ergonomics.
