Liebherr sells mobile harbour crane to Dutch terminal

Container handling equipment manufacturer Liebherr has sold an LHM 420 mobile harbour crane to Swiss company Pacorini Metals, the operator of Pacorini Metals Terminals B.V. in Vlissingen in the Netherlands.

The LHM 420 crane has an outreach of 48m and has a maximum lifting capacity, on the ropes, of 84 tonnes.

It will be used for container handling as well as bulk operation and is the first of its kind to be used in the Netherlands.

Pacorini’s commercial manager Mark Doene said: “Due to the high performance of the crane, we have vast capacity available to quickly load and unload all sorts of vessels.”

Pacorini operates three facilities in the Netherlands where they mainly specialise in handling and storing metals.

Liebherr’s mobile harbour cranes are produced in Rostock in Germany and Nenzing in Austria and the company is headquartered in Switzerland.
