Philippines-based global terminal operator International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has announced strong end of year results for 2014, which it has attributed to international expansion.
Highlights of the report include an 18% increase in throughput, up to 7.4 m teu and a revenue increase of 24%, up to US$1.1bn.
In a statement, the company said that strong consolidated revenue and profit growth were driven by strong performances from new operations such as those in Manzanillo in Mexico, Puerto Cortes in Honduras and Umm Qasr in Iraq.
