World’s first LNG powered container ship launched
The first container ship in the world to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been launched.
More than 2,600 people gathered to watch the 3,100 teu Isla Bella take off from San Diego, California, where it was built by US-based shipmakers General Dynamics NASSCO.
